"MY TALK WITH HIM" BY LIZZY EGYPT

"MY TALK WITH HIM" BY LIZZY EGYPT

"My Talk with HIM"
a Poem by Lizzy Egypt

I woke up today

Prayed to God

On Knees.....

To make sure the angels

Are guiding me

To double check

That God's presence

is with me

and make sure

He's forgiving me

So I can keep My heart

Clear and free

Cause the dark world

Will influence God's Kings & Queens

To do evil things

So I Thank God

Justice dwells in my mind

Gallantly

So, if You are a person

who's direct

indirectly, I won't speak

and if you respect

You and I

I follow the Golden Rule

So, respect will flow

Abundant and easily from me

Cause I'm just searching for knowledge

and not the type

You get from college

The type you get

When you look to hear God's calling

To magnify my perspective

and block the noise

So, I can hear God's directions

and the righteous can deploy

But people get a thought

Stuck in their head

And can't seem to change

Their perspective

Yet still don't seek wisdom

And I just can't respect it

So, I Ask God

How I seek knowledge without invasion?

Stand tall on all occasions?

Realize in this broke nation

Broken Souls and Characters are currency

Not God's anointing and salvation.
